This year the celebrations for April 25th, Liberation Day and memory of the anti-fascist resistance, have been militarized together with the disproportionate emphasis on the Alpine celebrations while a flood of tricolor flags camouflages an anti-Venetian message. Anti-fascism is deeply felt among the people, but the anti-fascists on the television catwalk are the same ones who have been violating Article 11 of our Constitution for two years and who in Brussels voted to equate Nazism and Communism.
